Short Wind Formula

Range value X wind speed (MPH) = Mil Hold (Full Value)

Gun #

Immediate Corrections

• +/- Half the target width

• +/- .3, .6, .9 <800 or .2, .4, .6 >800

Danger Space

• Estimated range (usually 450-550m) x .55 = max ord range

• Estimated range DOPE - max ord range DOPE = position above LOS

• LOS x 3.937 (constant) x range in 100th (250m = 2.5 mil) = Max ord in inches

• *Max ordinance should be 20-25 inches, keep trying ranges until you get as close as you can to that*

Mil/MOA Conversion

• 1 MOA = .3 Mils

• 1 Mil = 3.4 MOA

Meters to Yards

91 meters = 100 yards
